Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit and play Boomber Man ("the site"). We have tried to keep it short and plain.

1. Game data stays on your device

The game saves your progress (unlocked levels), your high score and your settings in your own browser, using localStorage under the key boomberman.save. This data is stored only on your device. It is not sent to our server, and we cannot see it. The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no user profiles.

2. How to clear your saved data

You can delete the saved data at any time by clearing the site data (cookies and site storage) for this website in your browser settings. Doing this resets your progress.

3. Advertising and Google AdSense

This site uses Google AdSense to show advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

To learn more about how Google handles data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

4. Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management message will ask for your choice about cookies and personalized ads before they are used. You can change your choice later through the same message where it is offered.

5. Google Fonts

The site loads its font (Fredoka) from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information as part of that request.

6. Hosting and server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are handled under the hosting provider's own policies.

7. Children

Boomber Man is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we decide in the future to direct the site at children, we will update this policy and the way ads are served accordingly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally.

9. Contact

If you have questions about this policy or want to make a privacy request, please use the contact page.
