💥 A bomb explodes after 2.5 seconds in a cross shape. Bombs caught in a blast explode too, so chain them!
You carry a pouch of 3 bushes (up to 5). Plant one on the tile in front of you. Press the key again while facing it to pick it back up.
Enemies can't walk through your bushes, but you can.
Your own blast stops at a bush and destroys it. Aim around it!
If a blast or spore hits you, one bush burns instead of you.
Grab Bush Seeds. You get at least 3 back after each level and each life.
…an enemy touches you, or your last bush is gone.
You start with 3 lives. Clear levels 1 to 7 and a heart waits on the exit door: +1 life each. From level 8 on there are no more extra lives, so play carefully.
Out of lives? Continue restarts the level with 3 lives but halves your score. Unlocked levels are never lost.
Found inside broken bricks and crates. A blast destroys them, so grab them fast.
Every level brings a new enemy with its own trick. Learn how each one is beaten. Levels 5, 10, 15 and 20 are Big Battles: see the next section.
Every 5th level you face a Titan: a giant boss, 2×2 tiles, armoured and very hard to beat. Learn its weak moment, survive its attacks, and keep hitting.
Bombs just go CLANG. Hit it only during its weak moment, shown by a gold ring under it.
Red tiles mean an attack lands there in about 1 second. Get out!
At each mark on its health bar it roars and gets tougher. You get a free power-up.
In the last phase its bar flashes red: it is faster and attacks more often.
🌱 A Bush Seed appears every 15 seconds, and each new phase drops a free power-up and a Bush Seed. If you die, the Titan keeps its damage. Beat a Titan without losing a life for the +2000 Titan Slayer bonus.
